After teaching special education for 25 years, Patti Hutchison and her husband, Bruce, moved to South Carolina from upstate New York. While supplying content for a teacher's website, Patti regained the love for writing passed on to her by her AP English teacher, years ago in high school.

Patti has a master's degree in education from SUNY Fredonia and has taken correspondence courses in writing for children. She has published numerous online articles featuring the topics of Earth Science, Life Skills, Study Skills, as well as plays adapted from classic literature.

Patti and her husband travel extensively. During their tours they have discovered many breathtaking natural sights. She is currently writing a children's book about the natural wonders of the U.S.
